Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) has recently been awarded the Rural Health Clinical Skills Training contract with Women’s Health Services within Veterans Health Administration (VHA). This high impact project addresses the rapidly growing patient population of women Veterans, which has led to an increasing demand for high quality gender-specific care. This need has especially been prevalent in rural communities, as they have a greater need for trained staff in women’s health. By way of a mini-residency training program, PFS will deliver specialized training to primary care providers and nurses at VA Medical Centers and rural Community Based Outpatient Clinics throughout the country. PFS offers a highly dedicated team of skilled practitioners and a project manager to support VHA in closing the clinical skills and knowledge gaps in topics related to women’s health.
