The future of health care for all Americans – particularly our veterans and other vulnerable populations – is evolving at an incredible pace, and PFS is positioned to provide the insights and opportunities for improving health care delivery in a rapidly changing landscape.
PFS has experience identifying and solving strategic and organizational challenges in performance measurement and improvement, program evaluation, and strategic planning for federal health and social service agencies. We offer clients innovative solutions that improve performance and quality of outcomes, and we work with providers to develop and deploy new, more efficient business processes that yield measurable improvements. In addition to the sample project below, our experts have assisted in, among other things, the development of a report on best practices at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and in the design and implementation of the diffusion of best practices at the Veterans Health Administration.
HHS Systematic Reviews for Providing Evidence on Providing Quality Family Planning Services
PFS supported systematic reviews for the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) to help ensure that the Quality of Family Planning (QFP) recommendations set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are up-to-date and account for recent findings or changes in evidence. These crucial reviews, including one that focused on the family planning needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) patients, will help provide to Title X grantees and providers, and the broader reproductive health community, the best available evidence to inform patient care, performance measures, research agendas, and public policy.
PFS is an Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and a verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). PFS serves the federal health and social services sectors with comprehensive expertise in management, healthcare IT, health education, strategy and operations, planning and technical assistance, change management, healthcare improvement, and business transformation.
