Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) to Support VA’s Digital Health Office in Delivering Innovative Health Solutions

Washington, DC – Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is proud to announce its commitment to supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in its mission to enhance healthcare delivery for Veterans through supporting the newly established Digital Health Office. This initiative reinforces PFS’s dedication to improving access to high-quality healthcare for Veterans, caregivers, and their families.

In June 2024, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Undersecretary for Health established the Digital Health Office (DHO) with the mission to deliver modern, innovative, and user-centered digital health solutions to create outstanding healthcare experiences for Veterans and their care teams. By focusing on user-centered design, DHO aims to ensure that digital health solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of Veterans, leading to better health outcomes. User-centered digital health solutions prioritize the end-user experience, making it easier for Veterans to access and navigate healthcare services. This approach improves patient satisfaction and enhances the effectiveness of healthcare delivery by ensuring that the solutions are intuitive, accessible, and responsive to the unique challenges faced by Veterans.

The PFS team is prepared to assist DHO in delivering these digital health solutions. The team will provide a wide range of program and administrative support, change management, strategic communications, executive support, conference and event planning, video/film production, and graphic design services. Through these efforts, PFS aims to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Veterans by ensuring they have access to the highest quality healthcare and resources.

Brian Camarote HeadshotBrian Camarote, PFS Vice President, shared, “We are honored to support VHA’s Digital Health Office in its mission to deliver innovative and user-centered digital health solutions. By focusing on the needs of Veterans, we can help create healthcare experiences that are effective – compassionate and personalized. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who have served our nation.”

IHT TOPR 0213 Suicide Prevention Clinical Interventions Program Support Services

PFS and Titan Alpha Awarded Contract to Support VA’s Suicide Prevention Clinical Interventions Program

Washington, DC – Titan Alpha, a joint venture of Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) and Customer Value Partners (CVP), has been awarded a critical contract to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in its ongoing mission to prevent Veteran suicide. This award underscores our continued commitment to enhancing the mental health and well-being of our nation’s Veterans through strategic support of the VA’s Suicide Prevention (SP) Clinical Interventions Program.

In 2021, approximately 18 Veterans died by suicide every day, with the majority under the age of 45. This alarming statistic is fueled by a complex array of factors, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, substance abuse, and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The VA’s Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) is at the forefront of addressing these challenges, working tirelessly to implement the National Strategy for Preventing Veteran Suicide in partnership with other federal agencies. Despite recent progress in reducing the number of Veteran suicides, the VA, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and OSP remain steadfast in their efforts to lower this number even further through comprehensive, integrated approaches to mental health care.

The team is prepared to bolster these efforts by providing essential administrative support, knowledge management, training development, project management, and program evaluation services to ensure the effective execution of the SP Clinical Interventions Program’s initiatives.

Through these efforts, PFS is committed to continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of Veterans by ensuring they have access to the highest quality mental health care and resources. By supporting the VA’s Suicide Prevention Clinical Interventions Program, Titan Alpha aims to help save lives and provide Veterans with the most valuable resource of all: hope for the future.

Carl FortuneCarl Henry-Fortune, PFS Vice President, shared, “Earlier this year, we took a vital step in supporting our Veterans through our suicide prevention efforts. We are thrilled to build on this progress, ensuring that every Veteran feels valued and safe. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.”

Lisa Kennedy“Supporting this mission is both a privilege and a profound responsibility,” said Lisa Kennedy, PFS Program Manager. “We are honored to contribute to such a vital cause.”

PFS is proud to stand with the VA in its ongoing mission to prevent Veteran suicide and is committed to providing the expertise and support needed to make a lasting difference in the lives of our nation’s heroes.
