Why the PFS Team?
PFS, a healthcare management consulting firm, has worked with VA since 2008, delivering on task orders that advance patient care, research, performance management, quality improvement, technology, innovation, workforce, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. The team supports VHA Central Office and Field leaders and staff to plan and implement legislative and policy directives that positively impact Veterans, their families, caregivers, and the VA workforce. For example, the team works side-by-side with VA and VHA staff to expand and enhance mental health care and suicide prevention, women Veteran health services, oncology/cancer care, pain management/opioid safety, primary care, dental care, care for Veterans exposed to toxins during military service, and care for Veterans living in rural areas.
The PFS team brings a track record of rapidly ramping up and responding to requirements of broad scope, high visibility, and technical complexity and depth. PFS assembled a large, multidisciplinary team of SDVOSBs, Other Small Businesses, Large Business Consulting Firms, Non-Profit Organizations, and Academic Institutions that are prepared to address all VA and VHA requirements. PFS has well-honed systems and management practices to manage large, complex, multi-vendor task orders that have resulted in “Exceptional” and “Very Good” performance ratings for Quality and Management 77% of the time.
